How to Check Nadra Family Tree (FRC) Online and via SMS

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched the ‘Qaumi Tasdeeq-o-Tajdeed Campaign’ (QTTC) to officially verify your family members. This helpful service makes the process simple and saves both time and effort for Pakistanis. Let’s now look at how you can easily verify your NADRA family tree.

What is FRC?

Family Registration Certificate (FRC) is an official document issued by NADRA that provides complete details about your family members. It includes information such as the names, CNIC numbers, and relationships of all registered family members. The FRC is often required for visa applications, immigration processes, or verifying your family tree. It serves as proof of your family’s registration in NADRA’s database.

How Long Does It Take to Receive FRC from NADRA?

The processing time for a Family Registration Certificate (FRC) depends on how you apply:

  • In-Person Application: If you visit a NADRA Registration Center (NRC), the FRC is issued immediately after your application is completed.
  • Online Application: If you apply through the NADRA Pak Identity website, the FRC will be emailed to your provided email address within 24 hours.

How to Verify NADRA Family Tree Through SMS

NADRA has made verifying your family tree simple with their SMS service. To use this service, ensure you have a mobile number registered with NADRA. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the SMS app on your mobile phone.
  2. Type your 13-digit CNIC number in the message box without spaces.
  3. Send the message to 8009.

You will receive an SMS containing the details of your family members.

  • If there’s an error: Reply with ‘1’ to report incorrect information. NADRA’s Islamabad helpline (051-2778009) will contact you for further assistance.
  • If the information is correct: Reply with ‘2’ to confirm.
  • Always use the same mobile number registered at the NADRA center when applying for your CNIC or B-form.
  • If your mobile number is not registered with NADRA, visit any NADRA center to update it. This service is free, and you don’t need to pay any charges.

This SMS verification service not only saves time but also ensures accuracy in your family record.

Documents Required for Application

When submitting your application, you will need to provide certain documents to ensure the process goes smoothly. The most important document required is a valid identity card. This can be any of the following:

  • National Identity Card (NIC)
  • Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
  • Pakistan Origin Card (POC)
  • National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP)

Make sure the identity card you provide is up-to-date and valid, as it is essential for verifying your identity and processing your application successfully.
